Spoken Latin & Application

Luke Ranieri, a renowned Classics YouTuber known as Polymathy, challenges students to experience Latin as a living language that can be spoken and understood today.

In an interactive lesson conducted entirely in Latin, Ranieri immerses students of all proficiency levels in the language, using everyday conversation to demonstrate how Latin can be acquired naturally through listening and comprehension. Students are prompted to engage with Latin in real time, offering a unique opportunity to experience Latin as the Romans once did.
