χαῖρε and salvē!! I am Christian Campos-Rojano, a Brooklyn Latin student, Class of 2026. I’ve studied Latin and ancient Greek for around three years now. Beyond studying Latin and Greek in school, I completed the Basic Latin Intensive program at CUNY (2023) and the Basic Greek Intensive (2024)—go LGI! I am very excited to be the head organizer of the Classicon and look forward to spreading love for the Classics!!!

salvē, my name is Ojan Bertrand and I'm a high school junior of The Brooklyn Latin School. The puzzle of reading and writing Latin poetry intrigues me, I enjoy disambiguating the enigmatic Latin of Isaac Newton's Principia Mathematica, and spend my otium practicing photography and being mind-blown by neuroscience! I am very excited as co-organizer to watch the NY Classicon inspire many minds in the classics and ancient languages! 

Hi, my name is Jack Worob and I am a part of the fundraising team for Classicon! Since beginning to learn Latin as a freshman, I have loved every minute of immersing myself in the language and culture of the Classical World. Being an avid fan of history, I relish the opportunity to learn about such a formative period in world history. As a lover of languages, the ability to make connections between modern English and Latin words thousands of years old is truly fascinating.

My name is Charlie Gibbons and I am the Co-Head of Fundraising and head of logistics at the NY Classicon. I am a junior at Regis High School and a passionate Latin student, as well as a graduate of the Latin Greek Institute’s Summer Greek Intensive in 2024. I love playing piano, swimming, and playing with my two dogs.

Hi everyone, my name is Patrick Liu and I am a Co-Head of Fundraising at the NY Classicon. I am currently a junior at the Dalton School and love reading Latin as well as Greek. In my free time, I love playing hockey, watching movies, and photography.

Hi! I am Lisa Pang, and I am the Greek curriculum coordinator at NY Classicon. I am a sophomore at the Loomis Chaffee school and an alumna of the Latin and Greek Institute’s Basic Greek Program. Besides reading classical philosophy and playing verb conjugation games, I enjoy playing squash and traveling around.

I enjoy exploring the MET, learning art history, and visiting cafes around the city. As the graphic designer and theater coordinator for the NY Classicon, I am excited to see passion for the classics evolve into a beautiful meeting of the minds!
